We had a family date night today. We all got dressed up and went to Olive Garden for dinner and then we went to the Chesapeake Planetarium for their summer program. The kids loved it and afterwards we got to look through the high power telescopes to see Jupiter and Saturn. It was a lot of fun!
The kids wanted to have a lemonade stand so we got all the supplies, Brooke made a sign and we set up on the corner of our property. The kids wanted to give the lemonade away for free and we did to a few people but our neighbors are too nice. After two hours and nine customers they raised $11.50 which they used to treat us all to ice cream the next day.
We love summer!
AJ flew to Phoenix to celebrate his dad’s 70th birthday and they surprised him with a party. He had a great time celebrating Papa’s birthday and hanging out with family!
Brooke had a good week at horse day camp this week. She learned how to take care of and ride horses southwestern style. They had two horse races one of which was bareback. At the end they invited siblings from the sidelines to join in the foot race before everyone got popsicles.
