While Ammy and Papa were here this week to visit, Papa helped AJ build the kids a playhouse. They worked very hard every day and even in very cold temperatures to finish the house before Papa had to leave for Arizona. AJ just needs to do a few finishing touches and we need to paint it, otherwise it is perfect. Brooke and Alex love their new playhouse and I know AJ loved spending time with his Dad to build it for them.
Ammy and Papa came to visit for Christmas break and had a lot of fun with us. Brooke and Alex had a good time playing with Ammy and Papa and doing fun Christmas things like making cookies, seeing Christmas lights, opening presents, and AJ and I enjoyed a date night. Papa was very busy helping AJ build the kid’s biggest Christmas present: The Playhouse. It was a fun week!
I got to do a fun 5 mile race on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront with my friends Carla and Marcella. The race we trying to beat the Guinness Book World Record for most runners in a Santa suit. I ran the race with no training and ended up finishing in 48:38. We ended up beating the record so my friends and I can say that we helped set a new Guinness Book World Record!
Brooke had her Christmas Program at school today and we got to watch our girl sing with her class. She had a lot of fun preparing for this with her class and was really excited to sing for us.
