Family Bowling

On a chilly day, too cold to go outside, everyone was getting antsy so we decided to try family bowling.  Brooke had a great time!  Mommy and Daddy would have had a great time if Alex was not running wild around the bowling alley (and nearly getting clocked in the head) because he didn’t understand he had to wait his turn.  We decided as a family to wait until he is four to try bowling again but at least we got some fun pictures!

Alex Makes His Own Eggs

Today Alex made his own scrambled eggs.  He helped crack them into the cup and then mixed them up.  I put the pan on the heat and poured the eggs and then he did a good job seasoning and mixing them up.  It was a delicious breakfast!

Ice Cream!

What do you do when it is ***80 DEGREES*** in February?!?!  Go eat ice cream at Bergery’s of course! Chocolate please!

Cowgirl Day at School

Brooke had Cowboy/Cowgirl day at school today. She dressed up, played games, and had a cowboy lunch!  After School it was so hot I brought a change of clothes and they both looked so cute as they walked to the playground to play: Alex hands in pockets, Brooke catching up to him and putting her arm around him.

Alex’s 30 month well check

Today Alex had his 30 month well child check and of course everything went well.  We have been weighing him at home but it was fun for him to get weighed and measured at the doctor.  He is 41 pounds and 40.2 inches tall.  I thought that was big until I looked back at Brooke’s stats and she was taller and only a pound lighter at the same age!

Here’s a fun picture of him from our hike doing his favorite thing: collecting sticks and rocks!
