We had one heck of a power outage today. At first I thought it was just our apartment, since the maintenance guy's were working on our A/C, but then soon found out that the whole grid for this part of town was knocked out. The power company said they'd have it repaired within 4 hours... try 6 hours. Luckily, my parents were in town for a vacation and Laura and I were able to go out to dinner with them and then go swimming at the resorts pool where they were staying. |

Tonight Laura and I went to see the movie 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' at the cheap theaters ($3 a person). Now, I thought that $3 a person was a darn good deal; but then when we found out it was 2 for Tuesday night at the theater, well that just made it even better... plus, the movie was really funny. |
