Brooke went to swim class yesterday, and had a blast. Allison was in town visiting and snapped some photos and videos of us in the pool with Brooke.

This was Brooke’s first Christmas, and she seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. We all were able to spend it together, and Oma and Opa were able to come out and visit as well. Brooke loved opening gifts on Christmas Day, sometimes playing with the wrapping paper was the best part – maybe a cheap alternative to gifts next year for her? She got everything she wanted, except her top front teeth. It was a nice week we had visiting with Oma and Opa as well, going to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens to see the lights, walking on the boardwalk, taking a walk on Christmas Day and just enjoying their company.

Grammy is visiting this week and spending some quality time with Brooke, Laura and AJ. Today she gave Brooke a bath and experienced Brooke’s ability to splash the water.
Well, maybe not snow per se but the Virginian weather dipped quickly from a hot 85-95 degrees to low to mid 50s during the day. So we broke out the warm clothes to keep this little one warm. Brooke looking comfortable and warm with Oma!
Then we went to visit friends at Chicks beach, still bundled!
Inside the beach front condo we met with Carla’s girls.
Brooke says that’s enough pictures for now, time to play! Woo!
