Brooke had her first race with her run club: 1.5 mile cross country. She did GREAT and we had a lot of fun cheering her on! Way to go Brooke!

Symphonic Artistry Concert
Symphonic Artistry got to play an evening concert at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, and AJ and the kids got to attend.
Ammy and Papa Visit
Ammy and Papa came to visit and we enjoyed playing with them around the house. Then we took off to Smith Mountain Lake State Park to enjoy time at the cabin and on the pontoon boat!
Alex’s 7th Birthday
Alex had a super fun 7th birthday! We started it off with pancakes and presents, followed by a trip to the zoo. Alex opened the rest of his presents and played with his toys before cutting into this birthday cake.
Father’s Day
AJ had a fun Father’s Day this year. It started with sleeping in and then after a blueberry pancake breakfast, he received his gifts. A dad-joke scavenger hunt led to his present. After some relaxing time, we went to the pool.
Brooke had the fun idea to send Opa all his favorite snacks for Father’s Day, and we got to see him open the box. We didn’t account for the Arizona heat though.
