Today I took the kids to an egg hunt with the MOMS Club. The kiddos had a lot of fun hunting for eggs and then enjoying the goodies inside!

Mulch!
We ordered mulch for tomorrow to put down while the kids are at school. It got delivered early and so we ended up getting half of the front yard done with Brooke and Alex’s help. After grabbing dinner out the kiddos decided to have some fun playing in the mulch and Alex got very very dirty.
FLSP Hike
Brooke really wanted to go on a hike so we drove to FLSP. Alex was excited at first but then dragged his feet and whined the whole trail. We got back to the parking lot and I put him in the stroller because Brooke still wanted to hike and then I pushed him on another trail. After a picnic lunch I got talked into going to the beach side where I decided I had enough and laid right down in the sand. The kiddos had some fun burying my feet before we headed home for nap.

Great Wolf Lodge
We just had a great two days at Great Wolf Lodge. Once we got there we got right to business getting in the water and riding all the fun slides. We ate pizza poolside when we got hungry and splashed some more in the wave pool. Both kiddos were big enough to go on the two bigger slides by themselves this time. The next day we had breakfast and enjoyed more fun in the water but after everyone (including parents) had a good nap they were a little fussy about getting back into their suits to go back into the water. The reason they were upset? They wanted to play in the water but without changing. Naturally we had to take a picture of their ridiculous co-tantrum. After sorting that out we played in the water before drying off to head to a local BBQ joint for dinner. When we got back from dinner we all got showered and into our pajamas for the bubble dance party, animatronics show, and storytime. Before we left it was snowing during breakfast which we had a treat of Dunkin Donuts. Luckily the snow stopped as we drove home. It was a fun mini-vacation!

Snow Days
Saturday it snowed all day leaving us with 5 inches of snowfall. We have had a lot of fun playing in the snow these last few days. For the first time since we have moved here, AJ has been off during the snow. We spent a blissful two days playing outside pulling the kids on sleds, enjoying pancakes and hot cocoa, watching family movies, walking in the snow to the park including taking the kids with us via sled, and making our own stair hill for sledding (since it is flat here). Day three AJ had to work but we spent the morning sledding and clearing the driveway, as we did today. The last three days had a crisp high of 25 degrees. The kids have had a great time the last four days with the snow!
