On Saturday Brooke got to go to her first Easter Egg Hunt. With a little help from Mom she was able to grab her first egg ever. She even got to meet the Easter Bunny and sit in a fire truck too.

Today is Brooke’s 10 month birthday, and we just can’t believe 10 months have already gone by. She is now pulling herself up when holding on to our hands, and even starting to take a few steps while holding us or the couch. Brooke still refuses to crawl though, preferring to roll everywhere – – she seems to get along fine without it.
Today has been an absolutely gorgeous day outside, 60°F and sunny. After all three of us had brunch we went to the park and played for a while, just enjoying the day.
Grammy was able to come and visit all of us for several days. Brooke finally warmed up to Grammy (after getting over her “stranger” anxiety that she’s developed) and had a fun time playing, reading and taking wagon rides with her.
This past week we’ve had Christine, Laura’s sister, visiting with us. It’s been a fun time having her here. We know Brooke had a great time playing with her; and she certainly enjoys playing with her new xylophone and hugging her elephant. Today was Christine’s last day here, and it couldn’t have been a nicer February day – – we were able to spend part of it laying out in the front yard playing.
