Hanbury Station #5 Tour

Today while the kids were out of school for President’s Day we went with the MOMS Club to a tour of Fire-station #5.  Everybody enjoyed themselves!

Valentine’s Day

We all had a wonderful Valentine’s day!  We bought the kiddos cute valentines animals for them with their cards, which they loved.  Both of them hand made their valentines for their classmates. AJ sent me a bouquet of beautiful flowers!  After school the kids and I had fun playing outside with bubbles.  When AJ got home from work we went out to dinner.  Since we started dating we have gone out to dinner on Valentine’s every year except his Intern year of residency because he was on shift.  This is our 15th valentines but 14th year enjoying valentines dinner!  We enjoy our little tradition.

Mommy/Daughter Date

This week the kiddos went to school when they were scheduled off to make up for snow days, however, because Brooke is in primary school they had to take off one day for grading that isn’t required for preschool.  So while Alex went to school today we had a little Mommy/Daughter Date!

UA Science Lecture Series

One thing that makes the cold 30 degree days of winter better is the University of Arizona College of Science Winter Lecture Series.  This year is Humans, Data, and Machines and AJ is more into this year than last years astrophysics lectures and I am learning more about computer science.

Jane Austen Date Night

For my Christmas Present this year AJ gave me a coupon to use for tickets to a play.  I picked out a show at the Virginia Stage Company: Pride and Prejudice.  AJ arranged a sitter and after a delicious dinner at Luna Maya we set off to the historic Wells Theater.  The theater was gorgeous inside and also other patrons were dressed in period garb which made the evening even more fun. It was a great show and we both enjoyed it!
