With Ammy and Papa visiting we took a night away at the oceanfront. We spent a little time at the beach and pool, had dinner out, walked the boardwalk a bit, and caught fireworks over the ocean before heading to bed.

Tap Tap Beer Festival
AJ and I went to a beer festival that helped build an orphanage in Haiti. It was a fun day date on a nearby farm, even when it started raining.
Alex Snuggles
Alex occasionally falls asleep during bedtime stories and he is very snuggly (and snores lightly as he has since he was newborn). After I put Brooke to bed I came back to our room where we were reading stories and AJ was still snuggling sweet sleeping Alex. Both of us cannot believe our baby is about to be four years old!
Beach Day and Blueberry Picking
I took the kiddos to beach again today because it is supposed to rain for a week straight and I wanted to make sure they got some more beach time before that happened. We made sand ice cream and dough then all swam in the ocean together before they jumped ‘Cowabundga!’ into the waves while I watched and took pictures. We washed up and then stopped to look at some flowers and the lotus garden before meeting AJ after his workday to pick blueberries. It was a long but fun day!
Beach Day and Lunch with Daddy
Today I took Brooke and Alex to the beach for the morning. We had fun building in the sand, running the beach, and of course jumping in the waves. After a few hours I got them cleaned up and told them we would go to pizza for lunch because I didn’t pack any lunch. They were very excited to find out that we surprised them with having AJ meet us at the pizza place after his morning meetings. They were very excited to see him!
