Brooke got a National Geographic Geode Kit from her friend for her birthday.  She decided to break one and let Alex do one as well (she’s got six left).  Brooke was very excited to wear her own science goggles like the pair she wears at school.  Alex’s was solid and after him destroying a sock trying to break it open AJ finally had to put it in the street and slam it repetitively with my 10lb hammer before we got it open.  Brooke took hers to class to be viewed under her class microscope to show the other kids and her teacher.

We went to Busch Gardens today on a rainy day but had a great time.  We got some pictures but mostly rode together on the rides.  Not pictured but Brooke rode the big coasters: Invader, Mach Tower, and Verbolten!
