Christmas Decorating

The day after Thanksgiving means it’s officially Christmas season and our day to decorate!  I had two cuties to help me while Daddy was at work, though we saved the ornaments for Saturday morning when he was home.

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we did all our family traditions (though AJ had to miss some of the morning ones due to being at work- he did get to watch the parade on his computer!). We hung out in pajamas and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and then went on a hike.  After lunch, I stayed inside to start the turkey and Brooke and Alex made their own thanksgiving dinner outside their playhouse which we all sat down and enjoyed. We played outside and raked the leaves into a huge pile for the kids to jump in. I had to go back inside to start dinner and eventually they followed so I put on the parade for them to watch while I cooked.  AJ came home and we enjoyed dinner before heading to the park to play. After the park we had a DAMN TASTY dessert of pumpkin pie and lava cake!

Brooke’s Thanksgiving Concert

Brooke’s 2nd grade class along with three others had a nice Thanksgiving Singing Concert before school let out for the holiday.  We enjoyed watching Brooke sing!

Leaf Peeping at Oak Grove Lake

We went to play on the playground and also walk around the lake to look at the leaves.
