It has snowed AGAIN (TWICE!!) and we are at it outside trying to get the most of this winter before spring and summer comes. This time since Alex is officially six months old he gets to ride in the stroller proper and therefore get the luxurious weather shield to keep him warm while Brooke and I tackle sledding down the finest hills of the golf course. Also we finally get to make our ‘happy snowman’.
Oma came for an impromptu visit and go a chance to enjoy our winter weather with Brooke and Alex. We stayed safe and warm and eventually got to venture out to the library and bounce house to keep Brooke from being too stir crazy from being snowed in!
Today was a great Sunday. The weather couldn’t have been better, it got up to 70°! The day started off with us playing inside having lots of fun. Once it warmed up we went outside and played in our backyard, had lunch outside and even went to the park (boy was it packed there). We had lots of fun today.

Today was the first day it snowed in 2015 – a playful inch. After a quick breakfast, I got both kids dressed and ready to play in the snow before it melted. Brooke loved the snow and since she was warm and comfortable in her snow clothes wanted to stay all morning in the snow. Alex did well but was ready to nap after 15 minutes of being outside. Alex has been a stinker all day (and all night – going on 90 minutes of crying to get to bed tonight – ugh Mommy and Daddy are tired) so he only napped 30 minutes this morning which meant Brooke and I had to cut our playtime short to come inside to tend to him and then eat lunch and then the snow was pretty much gone. We did at least get to build a snowman, lots of snow balls, and have fun regardless.
