On a whim I drove the kids to Hampton to check out the International Children’s Festival. It is a festival encompassing many of the countries and cultures around the globe 100% geared towards children. With crafts, kids activities, music, and dancing at each country (tent). Brooke and Alex enjoyed watching and dancing along the best.

On my birthday I took AJ and the kids to Lawson Lake for a hike then we spent the afternoon enjoying my birthday gift from the kids (a new hammock!) I had a date night with AJ to Lantern Asia at NBG!
With all the rain we decided to go outside and jump in some puddles. Of course we warmed up with hot cocoa and marshmallows afterwards.
It was a beautiful day to romp in an overgrown field of wildflowers. I love that my kids love the outdoors!
This is the first time we got a very good school picture. Brooke did a great job smiling in her new dress and shoes.
