Beach Day with Mom
Tidewater Striders Summer Relay
The kids participated in a random relay. Each member of a random three person team had to run one mile. Alex’s team finished in 23:51 and Brooke’s in 29.12.
Horse Camp
The kiddos had horse camp this week. Alex was on team Fancy and Brooke on Team Lilly. Each learned a lot about riding and taking care of horses all week which they showed during a presentation on Friday. When their two teams tied they had to settle the tie with a footrace. They had a great time except for the fact that they are both allergic to horses and came home each day covered in hives. AJ jokes that their allergies just saved him a lot of money.
Chrysler Museum and Coffee Shop
Today we took a break from the sun and the heat and went to Chrysler Museum and followed it up with summer workbooks and reading at a local Norfolk coffeeshop.
