Hiking FLSP
The kids and I got right into hiking first thing on this gorgeous morning. We tried a new-to-them trail at First Landing State Park, and they did amazing on the 5.4-mile hike. When he got home, we played board games on the deck. What a beautiful day to be outside!
First Day of In-Person School
The kids get to go back to school today! Though they’ve been attending school virtually for weeks, they now get to be in-person five days a week. They are so excited!

Nolan Trail
We went on the five-mile hike of Nolan Trail today. We all had a bunch of fun singing and hiking along. We had to wear our masks a good bit because it was nice out and therefore pretty busy. Alex would cry out, “Ut oh! Humans!” At the end of the trail, we found a moss bed and we all laid down for a second.
