Brooke has always been our strong girl and now our strong girl has a new big girl car seat. Her new convertible car seat lets her sit up more and gives her more room to grow. Which she loves to do!
Riding to Stroller Strides this sunny morning.
Today was Brooke’s first Halloween. In lieu of trick or treating Brooke stayed home with Mom and Dad to help pass out candy. We decided since Brooke went through all the work to Lobby for Ladybugs in DC, it was fitting that she should dress up as one for Halloween. We also carved a pumpkin, with a great big smile like Brooke (with one and a half teeth now).
Brooke has very very fussy since her 5 month birthday (though you could not tell by this cute face) and now we know why! Brooke has her first tooth! It broke the gumline a few days ago but now you can see it in a picture (below). She is very uncomfortable..so she is getting tylenol, lots of extra love and attention, all the teething toys her heart desires and then some, and extra nursing sessions so hopefully her discomfort won’t last long.
Brooke and I were enjoying lying around this afternoon, just chatting it up.

Yesterday there was an art festival in Norfolk across from the hospital that we went to in the morning after AJs shift. He has been working so much lately it was nice for him to have some daddy/daughter time if only for an hour and a half. Turned leaves were falling and it was a beautiful morning of family time.
