Today was Brooke’s 9 month well baby check at the pediatrician office and lucky for her no shots. Brooke is trying to be like the main man in her life, Daddy. She is growing even taller at 30.3 inches and 21lbs. Her eyes now match his golden green hazel color as well.

Today is Brooke’s first Valentine’s and also her 9 month birthday! She looks like she could repair some broken hearts in her cute baby scrub onesie. Did someone say they needed an adorable baby picture STAT?!?!
We also got to spend time with 4 month old Bayleigh and Katie at Oak Grove Park.
This past week we’ve had Christine, Laura’s sister, visiting with us. It’s been a fun time having her here. We know Brooke had a great time playing with her; and she certainly enjoys playing with her new xylophone and hugging her elephant. Today was Christine’s last day here, and it couldn’t have been a nicer February day – – we were able to spend part of it laying out in the front yard playing.
Tia Christine, Brooke, and I went on a hike today. We took advantage of the warmer weather and got outside.
Brooke got a Valentine package in the mail from Oma and Opa. She had fun reading the card (she held it like a book and opened and closed it) and playing with the envelope.
