Oma and Opa came to visit Brooke in August and had lots of fun with her. They went to story time, the park, the beach, blueberry and blackberry picking, the pool, and the botanical gardens. We all had a great time!

Playground Independence
At Oak Grove Lake today Brooke decided she was ready to be independent on the playground, climbing all around and going down the slides all on her own.

We all know how much Brooke loves the beach. Today she had great fun with Oma and Opa at the beach! Her new favorite thing to do is to climb into chairs. Patio chairs in our yard, the couch, our reading chair, her rocking chair….whatever she can get her hands on. Today she decided to steal Opa’s chair at the beach and though that was so funny! Then she relaxed with her cherrios and water.
Best Way to Wake Up From a Nap
Brooke spent the afternoon at her friend Adrianna’s house so we could go to an appointment. When Adrianna woke up, her mom put Brooke into the crib with her. Both girls seemed to really love it. Adrianna kept saying “Hi Brooke”.
