First Beach Day of The Season

Taking advantage of the good weather this week, we joined friends Marcella and Grady at the oceanfront Grommet Island Park. We played in the sand and dipped our toes in the ocean for the first time this season.

Warm Spring Day Park Playtime

We have been lucky to have a short heat wave which has allowed us to play outside in shorts and t-shirts in March!!

I, personally, enjoy seeing Alex’s pudgy toddler arms and legs getting some sun.

Great Wolf Lodge

We decided to attempt one night overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Alex has great difficulty sleeping when not in his crib at home so we decided to try one night and if playing at a waterpark all afternoon didn’t exhaust him then we would definitely know our state of affairs. The kids had a great time at the park playing in the water and enjoying their evening storytime. We all had a bit of a rough night and were sleepy in the morning and ready to head home.
