The kids are still having fun at gymnastics and Alex still stretches every morning with Miss Nina. The other parents get a laugh out of it when he b-lines over to her. Brooke’s instructors choose her sometimes to display the activities to the other children.

Alex has always slept with his yellow blanket but now in preparation for a big boy bed (as we did with Brooke) we have put sheets on his bed and a pillow so he lays in his crib as if it was a bed. Alex LOVES his sheet and snuggling underneath it. In fact, if it is warm and we’d rather he not use his sheet, he will fuss until he gets covered. Then he will snuggle in and say ‘G-nigh’.
On St. Patrick’s Day, while Brooke was at school, Alex and I attended Green Bean’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. Alex enjoyed watching the Irish Dancers and playing with the other children. Erin go Bragh!
The plight of all parents not living in Arizona or Hawaii is getting your children to conform to the ridiculousness which is daylight savings time. Lucky for us we did not have school or anywhere to be on Monday so I said “time change, schime change! I’m still letting these cuties sleep until their ‘old’ wake up time and everyone is enjoying sleeping in.”
Today I took the kids to the Zoo and we had a fun time looking at all the animals, and we saw the most peculiar creatures ever, little children in cages… if I had only known you could put kids in cages then these past several years would have been so much easier.
