Alex went five across on the monkey bars playing at the playground with me while Brooke was at ballet tonight. I was able to catch three across on video.

Gifts from Down Under
Uncle Eddy sent us some very cool gifts from Australia. The kids love their dinosaur backpacks and their many animal toys! Thank you Uncle Eddy!!
NAS Oceana Air Show
Today I took the kids to the NAS Oceana Air show. We had a great time looking at and getting into different airplanes and helicopters. We got to see some performances too (several were canceled due to the weather): stunt planes, Hornet, F16, and a heritage flight.
Alex’s First Day of 3 Year Old Preschool
Today Alex started preschool. It was his first day in the 3 year old class with Miss Amy and Miss Lisa in the dinosaur room! He had a great day!
Alex’s First Day of 3yo Gymnastics
Now that Alex has turned three we registered him for his choice for a weekly activity. He has been asking to go to gymnastics for about a year. He had a great first day with Miss Nina (the same teacher he had for a few months when he was 18mo old) and did a good job listening, following instructions, completing the exercises, and most importantly having fun. He said his favorite part was hanging like a monkey!
