Today I took the kids to the Arboretum Fall Festival. We hiked a bit and then walked around the festival.

Fall Hike
Today was actually cool enough to feel like fall with a high of 70 degrees so we went on a little hike.

Ninja and Gymnastics Class
The kiddos have been taking gymnastics for two months now which means they both earned the privilege of a uniform for their commitment. Alex’s class is called little ninjas which is part gymnastics, part parkour, all fun. Brooke is taking traditional girls gymnastics and loving it. She did her first solo handstand and is working on one legged balance on the high beam.
Alex’s Farm Field Trip
Alex’s Pre-K class took a field trip to Hickory Ridge Farms to learn about animals, plants, and pick pumpkins. Luckily AJ was off work and could come too. At the end Alex finally got what he had been asking for all summer- to ride a pony.
