Today Alex had his last day of preschool. He had a lot of fun playing with his buddies and was a bit sad saying goodbye to his teachers. I surprised the school at the playground with 60 popsicles so all the kids got a sweet treat on their last day when they played after school.
Today Alex had his ceremony for finishing preschool. He scored very well on his kindergarten readiness test and is looking forward to being at the same school as Brooke next year. After they sang and he got his diploma we took him out to lunch to celebrate.
After Alex’s graduation we went to the art museum for a visit. We watched the glass show before exploring the exhibits. It was some nice one on one time.
Alex had his end of the year school party at Funville and AJ got to take him. Alex had a lot of fun playing with all his school ‘buddies’ and AJ had a fun time watching them. They were the last to leave the party.
….that Alex feel asleep on the way to the library and I carried his almost 60lb sleeping body out of the car all the way to the 2nd story children’s section way in the back and laid him down in our favorite window seat and he took a forty minute nap in broad daylight with people all around while I read to Brooke.
