Alex got his first bottle today. He did really well with it. Oma was here and able to help give him the bottle too.

Brooke & Alex’s Footprints
While we were making Alex’s footprints, we thought we would compare Brooke’s next to his (of course we had to use Brooke’s favorite color for hers, orange). Brooke was so excited that she kept lifting up her foot and saying “Brooke’s turn!” It turned out pretty neat.
Alex’s Footprints
Last week we got around to making Alex’s footprints, he was very easy going throughout the whole process. The hospital did not send us home with an ink pad like they did with Brooke, so this time we used washable paint… his toenails are still stained a little blue.
Alex’s First Bath
Alex’s umbilical cord fell off 2 days ago, and that means he’s ready for his first bath, which he got yesterday! He did really well with the bath. Laura thinks we have another water baby on our hands.

Alex’s Two Week Check-up
Alex went to his two week check-up this past Friday. Not only had he gained all the weight back that he lost, he gained an extra 1 lbs 8 oz, for a total weight of 10 lbs 10 oz. He also grew to 22 inches in height.
