Brooke and I went a specialty SS class this morning that was across town and close to our friends Marcella and Mattie’s home. So after class the girls slept at Marcella’s house, I made lunch for us moms, and then the girls had a pants-less playdate (on account of the weather getting so hot so quick even though it was 40 degrees this morning). Both girls had fun pushing each other on a toy.
Today Brooke got to meet her great grandma and great uncle. We enjoyed having lunch with them and had some fresh air outside. Brooke loves her new teddy bear that Great Teta gave her.

Brooke and her good friend Mattie went to the beach with us Thursday. We all had a great time and the babies did great! They played on a blanket, ate snacks, walked in the ocean, and on the pier. Brooke particularly loved running into the surf with me holding her fingers. For obvious safety reasons there are no photos of this. Hopefully AJ can join us in the future and we can get more pictures.
Today Brooke and I went to the Botanical Gardens WOW center with my friends Marcella and Rosie and her friends Mattie and Liam. Everybody (including the moms) had fun slashing in the fountains and cooling off on a hot day.
Last week we missed our morning routine and stood in line for one of the coveted eight spots at the Greenbrier Library storytime for this 8 week session. We all know that Brooke loves books and that her favorite thing is the bookcase in her room. She often forsakes toys for books. When we got to the story room we picked up our pre-made name tag and joined the other kids. They read stories, sang songs and played with puppets and a display board. We got songs, coloring pages, and a sticker to go home.
