Alex had a super fun 7th birthday! We started it off with pancakes and presents, followed by a trip to the zoo. Alex opened the rest of his presents and played with his toys before cutting into this birthday cake.

The library had a reptile man, JB Critters, come and bring some of his friends to share with the kids. We all had a lot of fun learning and touching!

I was INCREDIBLY honored that My Heart Before You was the winner of the 2021 Booksellers’ Best Awards for Long Contemporary Romance and the Patti Shenberger Best First Book. They gave the awards out over zoom.

My parents came to visit and we had a great time at the beach together! It was good to see them after such a long time and even more fun to splash with them in the waves.
