Cusick Christmas Open House

We were invited to a friend’s house for a Christmas party last night.  We all had a great time being with friends, and seeing the light display at their neighbor’s house.  Santa was there as well but Brooke refused to get near him, so Mom had to cozy up to Santa to get a picture.

Polar Express at NBG

Thursday we went as a family to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens to their polar express night.  We got chocolate milk and cookies and a reading of the polar express and then a tram ride through the garden of lights.

Biker Girl

Brooke still loves going biking with Mommy.  In fact, this Wednesday when the high was 40 degrees she insisted on going on a 30 minute bike ride at sunset.  Even though her nose was super snotty from the cold every time I circled the house (which was often) she strongly said ‘No!’ and we did another lap of the neighborhood until we had to stop because it was dark.  It was such a funny outing that I had to stop and take some pictures of us.  Brooke as you can see was loving it.

Brooke at the Christmas Party

Everyone knows how much Brooke loves her baby.  She needed to take baby with her to a Christmas party we went to at a friends house this weekend.  To prevent baby from getting left behind I put her in my purse when Brooke gave her up to eat some food.  Brooke was playing with her friend Olivia and the other babies and then found this stroller just for dolls and started pushing it around empty.  When I saw how cute she was I gave her back her baby to put in the stroller.  She spent an hour pushing baby in the circle that was Melissa’s kitchen/entry/dinning room/living room.  Everyone at the party thought it was a hoot!  Needless to say Mom and Dad got her one for Christmas.

Week of Brooke

Here are some pictures of Brooke’s week.  She has had a lot of fun as usual and here are some of the pictures we snapped with our phones.
