Alex had a pizza party with all his classmates at school for his party. We had fun eating and talking with his classmates and their mommies!

Brooke’s End of the Year School Party
Brooke had her End of the Year party at a taekwondo studio and the kids got to take the class. She even broke a board with her fist! Brooke said she wouldn’t want to do the class again but she looked like the was having fun.
Stockley Garden Fine Arts Festival
I took the kiddos to one of our favorite festivals today to look at art and get honey of course!
Yoga on the USS Wisconsin
Vickie and I got the chance to join 500 yogis on the deck of the USS Wisconsin tonight for pop-up yoga by Bhav Brigade as they said farewell to one of its founding teachers. The event raised $3002.00 for the Elizabeth River Project as well. It was an amazing experience and since they had photographers shooting the event there are some pretty great pictures.
My Station Chef helping the Sous Chef dice
Brooke has been a valuable Sous Chef and has graduated to a straight kitchen knife for prep (think non serrated steak knife). Alex has now advanced to Station Chef and is using a butter knife to prep instead of the kids knife. After Brooke did 1.5 bell peppers diced (I slice them into the strips to make it easier for the kids to dice), Alex was adamant about finishing the last half. We even had to stop the cooking process to allow him the time to finish, but he did a great job!
