Brooke had to get a whole host of new school supplies for Kindergarten and we decided to go as a family to watch her pick them out. You can see AJ’s opinion on whether this was a photograph worthy event. 😛

Hot Summer Day
Today it is hot! It has been hot this last week with feel like temperatures between 105-118 degrees!! For Virginia this is way too hot! We started the day off with some peaches at the farmer’s market and popsicles after cleaning up the yard.
Splash Pad and Pool Fun
I took the kiddos to the Greenbrier pool today instead of our usual one and they had fun swimming but also enjoyed the splash pad.
Blueberry and Blackberry Picking
We went blueberry picking, which is AJ’s favorite. This year the blackberries were better than the blueberries so we picked both. I made a blueberry and blackberry pie which Alex could not wait to eat!
Bike Races
Now that Alex has mastered pedaling his trike the kiddos like to race down our driveway.
