For a little over four years now we’ve been trying to go see the lake inside of the Great Dismal Swamp. Well, we finally made it today. It was a nice family outing and seeing such calm water was very cool, almost bordering on creepy. On the way home Brooke sang to us all. For the first half of the first video Laura kept the camera down so as to not have Brooke’s “stage fright” set in.

We all took a walk this evening on the golf course behind our house; Brooke had a great time running around. The fall leaves are really starting to come out.
While we were getting Alex ready for bed, Brooke kept herself busy by getting a chair and setting herself up to draw for a while. She has been doing really great with playing independently lately.
We took a walk around the neighborhood tonight and ended up at the park. Brooke had a blast learning to roll down the hills.
