Laura’s 33rd Birthday
For Laura’s birthday this year, Brooke and Alex worked diligently at their gift for her – – creating a very nice planter of succulents, just what she asked for. She seemed to enjoy that and all of her other gifts. We gave Laura the morning off to do what she pleased, then joined her for a nice picnic lunch at the park. Later in the week I took Laura to a ropes course at the VA Beach Aquarium, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Alex Sitting Up In Bath
Alex is getting to be such a big boy and really good at sitting up. Now when we give him a bath he sits up the whole time!
Virginia Living Museum
Today we all went to Hampton to visit the Virginia Living Museum. It was a nice museum that had some nature trails and a fun children’s garden. Everyone had a really enjoyable day out.
Marble Flameworking Date Night
For my birthday, Laura got me a flameworking class from the glass studio. We went and made our very own marbles… well, Laura did. Mine are more blob shaped, but it was a great time.
