While Brooke was sleeping last night, AJ and I decorated the house to surprise her for her at home eighth birthday. When she woke up I made her waffles, bacon, and fruit for breakfast. Brooke opened her presents right away and enjoyed her new favorite toy, her purple roller blades with new matching helmet! We did pickup at Chick-fil-A and she enjoyed her tasty meal. After lunch she completed the treasure hunt I set up for her to find her cake (see video below). We played one of her new board games and she tried out one of her new magic tricks. After a rollerblading trip around the neighborhood, she settled in the backyard to make one of her new lego sets. Tonight I am going to make her favorite dinner, stroganoff!  She is looking forward to a bath after dinner with her unicorn bath bomb. Happy birthday to our sweet Brooke!
