Last week Oma and Opa came to visit us and Opa got to meet his grandson for the first time. We had a fun relaxing around the house mostly and enjoying the fall weather. Oma and Brooke had quite a good time in the leaves I raked up for them while Brooke was at school. It was great to have them in town.
Brooke had her 30 month check up with Dr. Mink and she did amazing. She answered all his questions and let him do his exam and didn’t cry at all. Brooke also grew to 41.1 inches tall and 39 lbs!

Here are the photos we had done for our Christmas card this year.
Alex has started grabbing on to toys, clothes, us… whatever is near him. He is doing a great job honing those motor skills. We started giving him toys while he is sitting in a chair so he can practice picking things up. Already he has transferred a toy from one hand to another. Also he is very fond of the fingers on his left hand (sound familiar?) and sucks them to sooth himself. He has started drooling excessively and putting toys in his mouth too. He might be trying to beat his sisters record for earliest first tooth.
Also Alex has lots of new baby toys but he still likes the old standards like the classic ladybug.
