Yesterday I got some alone time with Alex so after our 11 o’clock nursing we worked on some mat and tummy time. Alex is great at tummy time and never cries like Brooke did. He just works hard and makes cute faces along the way.
Today I cleaned up the leaves in the yard with Brooke’s help. Alex even came and joined us for a bit. Brooke loved jumping and climbing in the leaves, and even sharing them with Alex. As you can see, Brooke is getting ready for Halloween by carrying her trick-or-treat basket with her.

For a little over four years now we’ve been trying to go see the lake inside of the Great Dismal Swamp. Well, we finally made it today. It was a nice family outing and seeing such calm water was very cool, almost bordering on creepy. On the way home Brooke sang to us all. For the first half of the first video Laura kept the camera down so as to not have Brooke’s “stage fright” set in.

We all took a walk this evening on the golf course behind our house; Brooke had a great time running around. The fall leaves are really starting to come out.
