Brooke is a pro at sitting now and will do so for several minutes (10-15) playing independently with toys without falling over. She loves her new skill. Here she is having fun with Buttons in her cute holiday outfit.

Brooke’s Been Busy
Brooke has been busy lately. She’s learned to sit up unassisted now for several minutes at a time. Additionally, she’s enjoying lounging on the bed with mom, especially when clean warm laundry is tossed on to her. Of course, she’s also getting into the holiday spirit. And after a long day there’s nothing like a good shower to get ready for bed.

Sitting Up
Over the past week and a half Brooke has been slowly perfecting her ability to sit up. It started with just 1 – 2 seconds of independent sitting before toppling over. Now Brooke is routinely sitting unassisted for up to several minutes. It really is cool to see how fast she learns new skills.

Babbling Brooke
Brooke has always been a chatty girl but now she says ‘gaga’, ‘baba’, and ‘MAMA’! Hopefully ‘dada’ is right around the corner as AJ will have more time to spend with her in December. Yea family time!
